Sync for Apple Watch
I love rain parrot, I’ve been using it on my iPhone for a couple of years now. Love it! I’ve just recently bought an Apple Watch and I’m having issues with syncing. It would be great if there was a sync button in the settings page. Also, would be great if the complications have an option to show ‘real feel’ temperature. Not sure if the complications show that already as I have not been able to sync Watch app yet.

With all the requests to fix the sync problem with the Apple Watch (series 9 now) over a long period of time you are obviously not interested in fixing the issue.

I also did all the things asked and restarted and reset but Rain Parrot will not sync. I have a series 4 cellular and GPS. It is NOT a fiddly problem. It just won’t sync. Please fix this up

Dear Developer, will Apple Watch sync ever be fixed? It has not worked for years. Please be honest and address this issue rather than hide behind your response on this thread, that you know is complete nonsense.

Apple Watch app hasn’t worked for over a year. Tried the troubleshooting steps and still says it needs to sync.

Personally I have found that as long as my phone is on my person I can access rain parrot on my apple watch - though it does flash the ‘sync’ page on my watch momentarily. I have a series 5 cellular watch but do not use the cellular feature as my phone is almost always on my person.
Obviously when I leave my iPhone at home and wear my watch out (which is not using cellular), my rain parrot app does not update - however, this is to be accepted, as my watch has no network to connect to in order to pull data from the app. This is why it will say ‘sync with iPhone’ or something to that effect.
If people are still getting this issue with a working cellular apple watch though, i would say in all probability that it is the fault of the app itself. -

I too only get a message on my watch (series 4) saying open app on IPhone sync required, if I pay for something I expect it to work

I cannot for the life of me get your app to work on my Apple Watch series 4. It keeps asking me to open the iPhone app and sync but there's no way to sync. Urgent fix required.
