Zoomed radar loses position
When I zoom radar to 64km I can no longer see my location - it’s offscreen. Please allow 2 finger drag movement of the radar map, which would both ensure location is visible and permit visual of rain situation in other areas of interest

Historical data
It would be great to include historical data for the location you set it at. This would be helpful to track non-work days for certain trades.

Q
Hi, Love the app but recently the radar screen has been showing a false positive. It shows as a white splash across the map. I don’t believe it represents rain. It wouldn’t matter so much but it affects the forecast. For example on of these slashes appears above Tamworth NSW Australia as I write. 3/2/24 9.30pm. If I am mistaken please excuse me.

Expose rain alerts to iOS shortcuts
The ability to use iOS shortcuts on rain alerts. This will open up the ability to control HomeKit devices or interface with other home automation systems. It could also allow notifications to be pushed to computers for example.

Cost
I understood this was a once only payment for this app. Can you tell me if I’m right?

Notification choices
The default notification is fun, but I would love something a little more subtle. Can we also choose from the standard ones from Apple? Or a subtle ‘blip’?

More prominent Location pin colour
Our location pin is crimson, so we can’t see it when zooming out if there is crimson in the rain front j. The radar. A color that is not on the radar would be great. Fluro green?

Timestamps for Radar
This is a fundamental piece of information to include on the radar tab. The count down does not clearly indicate the time since the last updated image.
Despite a developer reply to a similar request from 2018(!!), excluding the timestamp does not make for a cleaner UI.12 votes -
Ability to zoom BOM radar
It’d be great if we could zoom in on the radar like other apps (Willy weather for one) as we don’t live within the 64km radius, and the 128km isn’t accurate enough. Yes, our weather is that locally variable!

1 of 15 is unintuitive
The phrase “n of m” is generally used to describe a portion of physical items, eg, 3 of 10 apples. By contrast, a value on a scale is better expressed using a fraction, percentage or simply a value (where the scale is known). Examples are the Richter scale for earthquakes, weather temperature, humidity percentage.

I have an Apple Watch and it would be great if I could access the amount of options available for my phone.

Apple Watch ⌚️ Complication request
Make available a complication which can be used in the ‘middle’ complication for the Infograph Modular.
Use existing source data, already existing in the Rain Parrot App, to show the following 3 screens,:
Radar image moving (set to same km/image update timing as selected in the App)
Storm Details (with the same graphical display as in the App)
Current temp (with ‘feels about’ and ‘forecast’(with reduced number of days to fit the screen real estate available)
Plus: 4th screen - Showing the last update sent by Rain Parrot i.e. ‘Rain in 24 mins’ - along with the time it was…
