Choose location without having to turn on gps11 votes
I don’t see a viable reason for adding this in, the app needs your exact location or it is way to inaccurate.
Release a version for Android Devices. Since going Android I miss this app and can't find anything similar to fill the void7 votes
I would like that too, but it’s not on the cards at the moment
It would be great if we could pick our own custom sound alert for the rain alarm. Thanks.3 votes
We might end up with some additional sounds, but you cannot have custom notifications sounds in iOS, the sound needs to be part of the app bundle.
Why don’t I get notifications on iPhone X not even the notification for the next day at 7:00pm3 votes
This is not really a feature request – if you are not getting notifications make sure you have notifications enabled in your phone settings.
I love the mini pong animation that comes up when I pull the screen down to refresh. Can I have a new screen when I can actually play pong. Would help fill in the time waiting for the rain to hit!2 votes
Not all of us think in Celsius!3 votes
Please make a similar menu bar app for MacOS.
Please keep it light in memory and cpu use.
Good suggestion but it won’t happen any time soon
When the user tweaks the locations and settings on their iPhone their iPad (and hopefully Mac version soon too) should have a toggle (same settings for all my devices)
When toggled, a setting change will be pushed to all devices.
Thanks and keep it up.1 vote
Each devices has a location, and it uses this location for the predictions
Allow a second mode of prediction: not just wind direction but vector trace the raincloud direction (with machine learning?) and use that to predict. Often the upper raincloud layers have a different bearing than the lower ground wind direction. Especially on mountainous islands the upper rain clouds will travel at different speed and bearing, than the wind direction in the valley.
Allow users to choose which method of prediction to use per location and remember it.
Thanks & keep it up!2 votes
This is already how it works, it doesn’t use the wind direction
To make the app better, it would be great for users to be able to save multiple locations(I.e home, work, golf), as well as having the option of viewing predictions at the current location.3 votes
Would it be possible to save locations for rain like home. So I can see how long until it would rain at home?4 votes
It would be nice to have the alerts on my Fitbit blaze2 votes
We don’t have plans to support Fitbit at this time
Great work developers.
One downfall I have is that when connected to my "bluetooth clock radio" while my volume is lowered for regular streaming music, the notification comes through full blast, crazy when it's a weekend and I hear "RAIN PARROT!!!" at 7am. Haha.
Would love to see a variable notification volume through certain hours.
You can adjust the hours the alarm volume plays for already in the theme settings
I updated this app yesterday on my iPad & now it's not working. Won't even open.4 votes
The servers went offline for a few minutes as one of the servers needed replacing.
Now that's BOMs offline for three months a friend told me about your app, it's been a great substitute , but really missing the 64km radius, is it possible to add one in?2 votes
All the capital cities primary radars have 64km options, however the backup radars do not.
I only need notifications to come through on certain days and between certain times. It'd be great have this feature3 votes
You can already set the hours that the alert sound will play – if you need finer control then you can use the Do Not Disturb feature on your phone.
Could this integrate with a map so you can choose an alternative location - eg your grandmas house who is wanting me to go and mow the lawns - it would be helpful for me to know if I was about to get rained on before I started heading there! Or when I'm at work or a friends house, can choose my location as my house so I know if I need to bail to bring the washing in24 votes
We don’t plan to add this as a feature, at least not in the app. We may be looking to add such a feature a paid feature for business users.
Should display temperature in widget on home screen2 votes
Is this for the Apple Watch – there is already another topic on this.
During summer on extremely hot days, or post heatwaves, when a property is closed up and air conditioning is running, an alert that a cooling breeze and rapid temperature drop has just occurred outside notifies users to turn air-conditioning off and open up the premises for fresh air and free cooling. Save energy / money / reduce emissions etc.9 votes
It’s a good suggestion, I’m not exactly sure how it would work though. At this stage I think it would complicate the app too much, but I’ll keep it in mind
What do you reckon?1 vote
Thanks, I might look into it at a later date
