Great idea, however it is almost an app in itself – it is significantly more complex than it sounds, but I’ll look into it.

I’m concerned with this behaviour as I have noticed it only serves to make the app seem more inaccurate – particularly when the storm is over 20 minutes away, as there can be several minutes of variation between each update. Using a relative time scale allows the app to fine tune the prediction without the penalty of being seen to be making such changes. Also having tested both I find a relative time scale more useful than the absolute time.

I take it yo mean the force touch settings – that could be interesting, maybe once I get a new phone I’ll look into it.

At the moment there is some complex logic for choosing the correct radar – I’ll look into tweaking it if there is a closer radar, even if that is of a lower quality image.

Unfortunately getting data this accurate is tricky, typically when you see this feature they may be using tricks like interpolation (averaging) between two 3 hour data points. I have been looking for a data source that can give this but it get both expensive and technical to implement.

I have thought about such a feature, as this may be a way of removing noise from the radar. It’s quite a lot of work, but I will keep it in mind for a future update.

I have considered adding additional sounds – I’ll keep it in mind for a future update.

We are working on some design updates and I’ll see if we can integrate some of these ideas.

We are looking into adding additional locations on a separate page. Note we have tried this feature and it isn’t as useful as it sounds, as the rain often travels faster than you can. So by the time you arrive at your new location the rain prediction is completely different to when you left as so much time has passed.

I’d love to add this feature. We are looking into additional data sources to support this.

We are looking into some advanced ways we can merge our current ‘actual’ data with the predicted models, that other apps use, to provide a higher accuracy solution.
There are loads of apps that ‘fake it’ by using these models, we prefer to give the real data where possible, however we understand that this doesn’t work for everyone, particularly if you are not near a weather station.
