  4. Location search function.

    The ability to search a location for the rainfall in that area. Would help with travelling/holidays.

  5. Refresh in Apple Watch app

    It would be useful to be able to refresh the forecast from the watch with pull to refresh.

  6. Show the time that it will rain

    This could be and option to display 'light rain at 2.33pm' rather than 'light rain in 44 minutes'.

    I’m concerned with this behaviour as I have noticed it only serves to make the app seem more inaccurate – particularly when the storm is over 20 minutes away, as there can be several minutes of variation between each update. Using a relative time scale allows the app to fine tune the prediction without the penalty of being seen to be making such changes. Also having tested both I find a relative time scale more useful than the absolute time.

  7. Add more radars

    I am in the Lockyer Valley and Toowoomba, the app is using Brisbane radar and saying I am too far from the radar for accurate predictions (It has rained and no notifications at all). There is no option for me to use the much closer Marburg radar.

  8. Radar times (and predictions?)

    It would be good to have times going along with the radar images, as seems to be common with most apps. Just makes it easier to estimate how quick rain will arrive/pass on that screen as well.

    Also, the Weather Channel app has a radar prediction loop as well, which can be very useful.

    Yours is certainly the nicest animation of all the ones I’ve seen, so would be great to add a few common features.

    The current design focuses on keeping the design clean and removing any information that is not required. The point of the radar page is that it is always up to date, and will let you know when the next image is arriving. The prediction page tells you when the rain is arriving.

  9. Show rain direction on all radars

    Show the approximate approach direction and timing (like is shown on the 128km radar) on all radar distances

  12. Hourly rain percentage.

    BOM has a hourly rain percentage underneath the time and icon for predicted weather, a paid app using the same source should also offer this.

  13. Lighting tracking g

    I have seen that you have a few requests for this and I think it would be a great addition.
    I know that in Australia Bureau of meteorology has active lighting tracking. Other weather apps like weather zone and flight radar 24 also have this feature so the data source might be more available than back in 2016. Just an idea :)

    Love the app btw!

  14. Ability to select your nearest location

    Be able to choose your nearest location as the app is inconsistent in finding my location when at home and therefore providing an inaccurate prediction

  15. Zoom the map

    I have no idea if the radar is showing rain over my location or not. I can’t even tell where my exact location is on the map (it doesn’t show my suburb).
    Zoom in on the map to show details makes the information really relevant and useful. So far, I’m using the weatherzone radar map more than this one.
